History & Experience
SOS was founded in 1997 as the pharmaceutical industry’s first Contract Medical Organization (CMO). Since that time, SOS has initiated more than 50 Medical Science Liaison (MSL) programs for its clients, including five of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies. SOS has hired, trained and deployed hundreds of domestic and international MSLs, the vast majority of whom have been internalized by SOS clients. To date, SOS has supported 21 products during pre-launch and launch phases.
SOS has also provided numerous companies with medical communications and pharmacovigilance support, including call center, medical writing, adverse event and product complaint reporting, medical meeting support, and field-based support, such as training.
The SOS staff is made up of trained healthcare and medical affairs professionals, many of whom have been with the company almost since its inception. The executive management team alone boasts nearly 200 combined years of industry knowledge and experience.
